semi-abstraction

Sorry I've been gone for a while.  I haven't done too much sketching in the past month or so.  I did a little bit, though, which I will be posting over the next week or so as I begin preparations to do some serious sketching.

I bought a green cased etch a sketch, which is pretty cool, but unfortunately it doesn't work so well.  I did this little thing the night I got it like a month ago.

I still like on-the-subway, nonstop-knob-turning, five minute drawings.

Renegade Craft Fair

Hey kids, come to the Renegade Craft Fair this weekend in McCarren Park. It's going to be sick. I will be sharing a booth with two talented ladies [check them out here: www.bellehelmets.com, and here: http://prologuebyshawna.blogspot.com/]. Our booth is called Table of Contents. We'll be somewhere close to the corner of Bayard St. and Lorimer St. Come say hi. Also, buy stuff.

hearts and an eye

I got some new etch a sketches in the mail.  I did these two on the small one the night it came.

Somehow this survived a long, bumpy bike ride home in my bag without being erased.
